Executive Hotel Le Soleil New York

Very friendly staff! Clean hotel with very charming spirit. We felt the warmth of the hotel and we even got free lemonades and bottled waters every day.

We were on holiday in New York for a week and afterwards we were very satisfied with our choice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is fairly centrally located on 36th street and an oasis of peace in the middle of this energetic city. Our room was on the eighth floor and very well insulated, we were not bothered by any noise at any time. The room is very large by New York standards and has plenty of storage space. We had two large suitcases with us and could easily store everything. the bathroom with walk-in shower was also equally good with very good water pressure. Around the corner from the hotel is the subway station on 34th which will help you travel in New York with great ease. We took the subway, leaving to the airport at the end of the week and it brought us to Jfk easily for just a subway fee instead of an overrated taxi price. The Empire State building and Macys are both just one block away. The central located Time Square is just a few minute walk and easily accessible via Broadway. Yes!! Next time we would definitely choose the same hotel again it made our stay in New York very pleasant. We advise Breakfast at the very clean and friendly Korean Cafe Joa Kitchen just next door. We enjoyed diner at the Keg Room, an Irish Pub one minute away in front on 36th. Enjoyed a dayly “happy hour” at any Applebee’s (our preferred was on 50th / 6th). Thanks for having us, we appreciated our journey.

Room and bathroom was large for the price compared to other hotel rooms in the area at a higher price point . Complimentary water in the rooms; daily maid service.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room size is small but enough place to put luggages so by the NY standards I think this is really ok. All in all maintanace was ok and neccesary equipment was also there like hair dryer or coffe machine.

Lovely friendly, helpful staff, really quiet rooms despite the very central location (looking out our bathroom window every morning and seeing the Empire State Building never stopped being amazing). Really clean and everything in the room was spot on...bedding and bed were lovely. Breakfast was free every morning...limited seating but you could take it back to your room anyway - there was a wide selection of fresh pastries, muffins, yoghurts and fruit. I gave the fruit a miss to work on my five (pastries) a day diet. It was our Silver Wedding and we were looked after by the staff who really were nice. Checkout was 11am and the concierge sorted our luggage and taxi to the airport. Special shout out to Steve the Manager who was really personable and clearly in a job and a hotel and a city he loves. We had a brilliant week and the hotel was a huge part of that. 10-15 min walk to most things...Times Square, Rockefeller Centre Central Park...even less to many other sites...Empire State, Grand Central Station, St Patrick's etc
